About the role

This role will see you work closely with the Performance & Insights Manager to assist in analysing and reporting on key performance metrics for the Supported Recovery Model and all branches within Supported Recovery, developing and providing insights on a regular basis.
 
You will also be expected to pro-actively work with the Performance & Insights Manager to ensure the efficient flow of claims into and within Supported Recovery, by allocating claims to claims staff, ensuring high quality input of data, and supporting and coaching staff to align with best practice.

Key duties

  • Develop an understanding of the information needs of the team and stakeholders, providing advice on data and analysis. 
  • Creating and maintaining regular reporting for Allocations and in support of Performance & Insights Manager initiatives. 
  • Independently manage the flow of claims into Supported Recovery and between functions within the division, including decision making around equity of allocations and correct segmentation of clients based on needs
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders across all claims divisions in regards to claim movement, allocation & quality processes
  • Undertake quality reviews on claims, ensuring key claim related tasks are completed to the required standard prior to movement
  • Support, coach & develop staff with focus on quality client outcomes aligned with work practices in relation to claims model movement
  • Detect trends and opportunities in regards to claims movement to lead process improvements in performance and quality

About you

  • Have an inquisitive nature and a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Enjoy researching information and delving deeper to produce desired outcomes
  • Ability to be flexible in your approach and can adapt to changing demands
  • Have excellent computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated experience in capturing, interpreting, analysing and presenting data
  • Are an independent thinker and can solve problems with a creative mindset
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing, influencing and achieving outcomes with stakeholders
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and apply a solution focused approach to problem solving in a constantly changing landscape
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and/or work experience in claims management, data science, project management, change management, or business improvement (desirable)
