Care in Action

With a career at the TAC, you’ll be helping us look out for the lives of everyone who travels on Victoria’s roads. That’s care in action.

Find out more about our shared purpose, and what drives every one of us.

Right now, we’re seeking a Senior Insights Analyst who will play their part in this shared purpose, while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. That’s truly rewarding work that will help us continue to deliver life-critical services where it matters.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to combine your analytics expertise with your coaching skills to empower TAC teams to confidently use data in their decision-making. You’ll play a key role in uplifting data literacy and fostering a data-driven culture across the organisation through a pilot program designed to identify gaps in data literacy and governance and embed sustainable solutions that improve client outcomes.

Your work will focus on translating existing complex data into actionable insights, supporting cultural change in how data is understood and applied and partnering with key stakeholders to build capability. This role is central to TAC’s data-driven culture uplift, ensuring teams have the confidence and tools to make informed decisions every day.

About the Team

You’ll join our Performance Insights & Analytics team within the Performance, Risk & Strategy division, as part of a dynamic and agile group working at the forefront of TAC’s contemporary data environment.

This team is working closely on a pilot program to uplift data literacy and improve data governance across the organisation. You’ll help colleagues understand the value of data, build confidence in using it and support cultural change in how decisions are made.

Working alongside highly skilled analysts and a new Change Analyst, you’ll play a key role in embedding sustainable solutions that make data meaningful and accessible for everyone.

What we’re looking for

Analytics and Insight Expertise
You have strong analytical skills and can turn complex data into meaningful insights. Experience with BI tools such as Qlik and SQl is essential, along with the ability to identify trends and drivers that inform strategic decisions. Analytics and insights experience within personal injury compensation schemes, such as TAC, WorkSafe Victoria or similar, would be highly regarded.

Coaching and Capability Building
You’re passionate about helping others grow. You can identify gaps in data literacy and coach teams to build confidence and skills, fostering a culture where data informs everyday decisions.

Collaboration and Influence
You thrive in a collaborative environment and can influence stakeholders at all levels. You’ll work closely with leaders, teams and our new Change Analyst to embed sustainable solutions and drive cultural change.

There’s more to work than a competitive salary and amazing employee benefits. As our newest Senior Insights Analyst, you’ll also:
