About the role
We’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join our Enterprise Transformation division. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end architecture and technical direction of the TAC’s Microsoft technology environment.
You will lead the development, and maintenance of the Microsoft Platform Roadmap, ensuring that all Microsoft based initiatives align with TAC’s strategic and digital strategy.
Working across the entire Microsoft program of work, you will collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to design integrated, secure, and scalable solutions that deliver both technical excellence and measurable business value.
About the Team
The Enterprise Transformation division is dedicated to delivering the TAC’s strategic priorities, ensuring best client outcomes, employee experience and a positive community impact. The division oversees the portfolio, program, and project delivery, as well as technology development and operations. As part of the Enterprise Engagement branch, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading transformational IT changes within the TAC.
What we’re looking for
Extensive Technical Expertise
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SAFe), as well as experience in designing scalable, secure and high-performance architectures, with knowledge of microservices, APIs, DevOps, and cloud native solutions. You will have extensive experience in cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure and M365, with strong proficiency in the entire Microsoft technology stack.
Strategic Leadership Skills
Proven leadership skills in guiding technical teams and coordinating across multiple projects. Ability to collaborate in a program environment, influencing project outcomes without direct authority. A demonstrated history of facilitating design workshops, architectural reviews, and technical discussions among diverse teams.
Analytical & Problem Solving
Ability to focus on large-scale, strategic problem-solving, ensuring the entire system is efficient, scalable, and aligned with business goals. You take a holistic, long-term approach to problem solving with the ability to make trade-offs between costs, performance, and tech choices.
