  • Full time , fixed term role (parental leave replacement) until 31ST August 2026
  • Geelong office location, with flexible hybrid working (3 day per week office attendance)
  • Offering a competitive base salary of $163,604 plus super and benefits

About the role

As the Manager, ITSS Risk Advisory, you’ll lead a high-performing team to ensure that all new technology initiatives across WorkSafe Victoria and the TAC are secure, compliant, and aligned with strategic risk frameworks. You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing information security risk assessments, advising senior stakeholders and embedding robust governance practices across a diverse and impactful portfolio.

What we’re looking for

 

Proven Risk Leadership

Extensive experience managing information security and technology risk in complex environments, with a deep understanding of risk frameworks, governance and compliance.

 

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

Demonstrated ability to consult, influence and build trust with senior executives and cross-functional teams in a dynamic setting. You are skilled in bridging the gap between technical detail and business understanding through clear and concise information.

 

Team Leadership & Delivery Excellence

Strong people leadership skills, with experience managing subject matter experts, driving team performance, and overseeing risk assessments across large-scale portfolios.
