About the role
The Manager, Process Optimisation provides strategic and specialist advice in relation to the optimisation of processes related to our people and systems, across core business functions. This role will lead and facilitate the identification of reform opportunities for delivery in Enterprise Transformation to create efficiencies and identify opportunities for automation.
Key accountabilities of this role include:
- Lead, develop and implement a Process Optimisation capability which takes a value stream, end to end view
- Build, implement and execute appropriate process frameworks to understand current state and drive process optimisation
- Evaluate key processes and end to end process re-engineering in line with business priorities and TAC’s Strategy
- Prioritise key process areas for optimisation in collaboration with business stakeholders
- Lead and/or facilitate process optimisation initiatives across the Enterprise Transformation using recognised continuous improvement and process optimisation methodologies that deliver sustainable operational improvement
- Lead process optimisation and continuous improvement to improve productivity, quality and efficiency of operations across Enterprise Transformation
- Develop and make recommendations for improvements of business processes based on sound research and analysis
- Work collaboratively with the Digital Delivery branch and operational teams to support process automation/digitisation from inception of new process design
About the Team
Reporting to the Program Director of Service Design this role sits within the Business Delivery Branch in the Enterprise Transformation Division. You will be joining a dynamic, fast paced branch who are curious and open to new ways of working.
The Enterprise Transformation Division successfully delivers the organisation’s strategic priorities cost effectively and in a way that optimises organisational outcomes, client, employee and provider experience and a positive community impact. The division oversees the Portfolio, Program and Project Delivery for the TAC, as well as the technology development and operations (including digital) for the TAC.
What we’re looking for
Significant experience in delivering process optimisation frameworks
Proven track record of using project methodologies and business analysis approaches to implement process improvement initiatives
Proven ability to establish and lead a team
Ability to direct work, coach and contribute as a subject matter expert
Strong stakeholder management skills and excellent communication skills
Proven capability in effective stakeholder engagement at a senior/executive level, with ability to communicate, negotiate and influence change
