About the role

The Microsoft Program will establish a dedicated Microsoft Tenancy for the Transport Accident Commission (TAC). As part of establishing the new tenancy, it will be configured to meet information management requirements as set out in the Public Record Office Victoria (PROV) Standards.  The Information Management Analyst position will work with the Information Management Team, SharePoint Engineer, Project Manager and other project staff, and vendors, to ensure the new SharePoint environment is set up to manage information effectively at the TAC according to PROV requirements.

About the Team

This role sits within the Enterprise Information Management team within the Enterprise Change and Workplace Experience Division and will work very closely with the Microsoft Program Team.

Reporting to the Information Manager you will be supported by a manager who empowers their team to succeed, whilst providing support to help achieve individual and team vision and goals.  The team are responsible for managing information in all forms, educating staff across all business areas in order to enable TAC staff to manage information for better community outcomes.  The team manage the Content Manager records management system, provides advice on information stored in other systems, and oversee physical files at our archival storage provider.

What we’re looking for

Demonstrated experience in Records and Information Management.

Proven experience in the configuration of information management elements in Microsoft SharePoint and Teams, such as classification schemes, site and Teams structures, and retention policies and labels. 

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of PROV recordkeeping standards and instruments including:

  • Strong knowledge of Retention and Disposal Authorities and how they apply in the Victorian government context, and the ability to apply them in a SharePoint environment
  • Strong knowledge of metadata frameworks, classification standards, and document lifecycle processes.

Experience working within a technical team for the delivery of transformation projects and systems implementation

Demonstrated ability to build and manage productive business and stakeholder relationships.
