Senior Solicitor – Corporate Legal

  • Full time fixed term role for 2 years
  • Geelong office location, with flexible hybrid working

About the role

The successful incumbent would be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial non-litigated matters as well as leading the provision of legal services for Information Communication Technology (ICT) procurement. They would also be supporting the Senior Manager Corporate Legal in developing and implementing innovative commercial/corporate legal risk management strategies.

 

About the Team

You will be working alongside 7 other lawyers and will be a part of the Corporate Legal Team which is a very collaborative and close-knit team. You will be supported by a very hands-on Manager who promotes a flexible working culture.

 

What we’re looking for

Bachelor of Laws

Must have a Bachelor of Laws or equivalent and hold a current practising certificate and admitted as an Australian Lawyer.

Significant experience in a similar role

Significant post-admission commercial (non-litigious) legal experience specifically in IT law and procurement.

Collaboration & Communication

Proven experience in collaborating across multiple divisions and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
