About the role 

Join the TAC as a Legal Assistant in the Costs Team and contribute to positive outcomes for Victorians injured in transport accidents. You'll play a vital role in our efficient and just claims process, providing essential support to our legal team. This includes administrative tasks, file management, and close collaboration with Costs Solicitor and our Cost Consultants. As we embrace a new time-based costing model, your adaptability and proactive approach will be invaluable.

What we’re looking for 

 

Highly Developed Administrative Skills

You can manage multiple tasks, organise complex information, and maintain attention to detail. You are proficient in scheduling, document preparation, and correspondence, ensuring all tasks meet critical deadlines whilst maintaining the highest quality.

 

Technical Proficiency & Communication Skills

You are proficient in Microsoft Outlook, OneNote, and Teams, with highly developed literacy, numeracy, written and verbal communication skills. Your expertise in using databases and the MS Office suite enables you to manage tasks efficiently and effectively.

 

Adaptability & Collaboration

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating courage, accountability, and adaptability. Your curiosity drives you to embrace new ideas and learning opportunities, whilst your empathy and collaboration skills support you to connect with others and achieve shared goals.
