Right now, we’re seeking a Policy & Service Delivery Specialist who will play their part in this shared purpose, while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. About the role
The Policy & Service Delivery Specialist role is accountable for the development and review of critical claims policies relating to health, disability and trauma services. This role is required to deliver and implement projects and initiatives, in partnership with a wide variety of internal stakeholders, that drive, support and improve access to services provided to TAC clients.
About the Team
Joining one of two Policy & Service Delivery Teams at the TAC, you will be part of a small but lively team of specialists with diverse backgrounds and expertise ranging from healthcare re-design, policy development, claims management and project management.
The team sits within the Provider Markets & Commercial Group, which collaborates on a broad range of projects that drive high value healthcare and support service outcomes through sector partnerships, robust policy and strategic commercial arrangements.
You will be supported by a manager who champions autonomy, encouraging you to take the lead on projects and policies while providing guidance and opportunities for personal growth. With flexible office days and work hours, this team offers a great environment for building comprehensive knowledge of TAC operations, opening doors for internal learning and career development.
What we’re looking for
Sector Expertise with a Service Delivery Focus
Extensive knowledge and experience in the health, disability, or trauma sectors, with experience designing and improving service delivery models to promote high value outcomes. You will have the ability to synthesise research, environmental scans, trends and stakeholder insights to inform policy and program design and delivery.
Proactive Stakeholder Management
Proven ability to establish and maintain influential relationships with key internal stakeholders. You will be proactive in managing and monitoring programs of work and take initiative in managing critical business partnerships to ensure collaborative project outcomes.
Advanced Communication and Policy Development Skills
Exceptional written communication skills, particularly in crafting high-quality reports, papers, and presentations. You will be proficient in translating and interpreting research and data into effective policies and work practices.
