About the role
The Team Manager, Client and Provider Communications plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering communication across the TAC’s external channels, partners, and stakeholders.
Leveraging your strategic communications expertise and strong leadership skills, you will lead and influence a dedicated team, cultivating a safe, inclusive, and positive environment. You will drive capability development and guide the team in delivering high-impact communications outcomes aligned with the TAC’s Make Every Day Matter Strategy
About the Team
This role sits within the Communications, Media and Digital branch of the Community division, which is committed to engaging, educating, and influencing the Victorian community, stakeholders, and TAC employees. Together, the team works to build trust in the TAC, empower our people, promote a safety-first road culture, and deliver the best outcomes for our clients.
As Team Manager, you will lead a small, highly motivated team. Your leadership will cultivate a collaborative and supportive environment, empowering your team to thrive and excel. You will play a pivotal role in building capability and guiding the team toward a high-performance culture.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Communications, Media, and Digital, you will have the autonomy to shape your team's direction and priorities. You'll be empowered to make strategic decisions that drive meaningful impact, with leadership support, guidance and collaboration to ensure your success.
What we’re looking for
Strategic Communications Expert
With tertiary qualifications in Communications or a related field, you bring extensive experience in leading communications strategies across complex environments. You are skilled in developing and managing integrated communications plans and working strategically across diverse channels and audiences. Your innovative mindset allows you to introduce fresh ideas and drive more effective, modern ways of working.
Confident and Influential Stakeholder Partner
You have exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, quickly building trust and becoming a go-to partner across the organisation. Collaborative yet confident, you’re not afraid to challenge and influence outcomes, offering new perspectives that help shape strategic communication decisions.
Motivated and Empathetic People Leader
You are a proven leader with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams. You lead with courage, empathy, and adaptability, creating an environment where your team feels supported, valued, and motivated to achieve their best.
