About the role
As a Common Law Assistant, you will provide precise and accurate administrative and clerical support associated with file management and case preparation in all jurisdictions including interstate. You will also be involved in investigating, preparing and managing serious injury, common law and/or recovery potential files to ensure the TAC is in a position to effectively resolve serious injury requests, negotiate damages and/or recoveries.
About the team
This role will be a part of our Common Law team, working closely with a team of highly skilled and experienced Common Law Coordinators and Team Manager. Highly developed communication skills
A strong communicator with an ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Strong time management and organisational skills
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise work and meet prescribed deadlines. As well as a demonstrated ability to problem solve and be proactive.
Adaptability and Commitment to continuous improvement
Demonstrated ability to adapt to change, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and support a culture of innovation and learning.
Experience within a legal environment (Desirable)
Understanding of the legal system and litigation process in personal injuries law is desirable
