Right now, we’re seeking a Stakeholder Communications Lead - Projects who will play their part in this shared purpose, while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. About the role
In this newly created role, you will lead the development and implementation of effective communication strategies across external stakeholders and channels. This role will support the delivery of key change programs within the TAC’s Make Every Day Matter strategy, with a particular emphasis on service delivery initiatives. You will lead a small team of communications advisors and work collaboratively with internal project teams. The role will be responsible for providing strategic communications advice and overseeing the delivery of communication and engagement plans, with a focus on the TAC’s health and disability providers.
About the Team
This role will lead a new project-focused communications team within the Communications, Media and Digital branch. You’ll join a collaborative and experienced leadership team, supported by a manager who empowers leaders to take ownership and accountability. The Communications, Media and Digital branch is a friendly, fun group with a diverse skill set. We are passionate about delivering strategic and impactful communication that supports TAC initiatives, enhances TAC experiences and strengthens the TAC's brand and values.
What we’re looking for
Strong strategic communications experience in complex organisations
We are looking for a strong leader who has extensive experience working within project teams and/or with change management principles and methodologies with tertiary qualifications in communications/media or related field.
Advanced stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
Strong ability to lead complex initiatives and influence outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups while building trusted relationships, negotiating effectively and communicating with impact.
Demonstrated experience within the health and disability sector
Experience in and/or understanding of health, disability and community sectors is highly beneficial to effectively navigate the complexities involved in supporting TAC clients, providers and diverse stakeholder groups.
