Right now, we are seeking a Provider Specialist who will play their part in this shared purpose while also supporting the Provider, Markets and Commercial Group through provider management to ensure our clients have access to services that meet their needs. About the role
As a Provider Specialist, you will be the key contact for a portfolio of external providers, leading the development and management of strong, impactful relationships. Your role will be crucial in enhancing provider performance, directly influencing the quality of services available to TAC clients. By collaborating with internal teams and engaging with key external partners, you'll help shape the organisation's strategic understanding of the provider landscape, challenges and opportunities to achieve better client outcomes while ensuring the scheme is for now and the future.
About the Team
This role is part of the Provider, Markets and Commercial Group which aims to influence the market to transform service delivery through strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, robust policy and value based commercial arrangements.
You will be joining a passionate, high performing team who work together to enhance relationships with our provider portfolio to improve services for TAC clients. You will be supported by a manager who is approachable and promotes a collaborative work environment.

Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen
A strategic mindset is key, with the ability to identify opportunities, scope and frame initiatives, and influence outcomes. Your business acumen and systems thinking will help drive decisions that align with broader organisational goals.
Provider Performance and Contract Management
You'll be responsible for managing and enhancing provider performance, using data analysis to inform actions and drive continuous improvement. This includes accountability for key initiatives and the ability to articulate priorities effectively. Strong contract management expertise is vital to oversee the lifecycle of service agreements and vendor contracts. The ideal candidate will have experience drafting, negotiating, reviewing and managing contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational standards. Verbal and Written Communication Skills
You will have exceptional communication skills, capable of producing high-quality, professional documents tailored for senior audiences. This includes drafting Board Papers, Ministerial and CEO Briefs, formal submissions, and other strategic communications that require clarity, precision, and a strong grasp of tone and structure. The ideal applicant will demonstrate an ability to distil complex information into concise, impactful narratives that support decision-making and influence outcomes.
