About the role
As the TAC’s Senior Scheme Sustainability Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in developing pro-active analysis, reporting/monitoring, supporting the Actuarial team, actuarial valuation, initiatives and scheme sustainability performance.
This role will support the monitoring of the actuarial valuation and scheme sustainability performance. This is achieved by providing data, deep-dive analysis & reporting, enabling the team and wider business to understand the actuarial valuation, scheme sustainability performance and to shape decisions.
About the Team
Reporting to the Manger Scheme Sustainability Performance this role sits within the Actuarial Services Branch in the Performance Risk & Strategy Division.
The Performance, Risk & Strategy division is committed to ensuring the TAC achieves its ambitious performance targets through informed decision-making and strategic insights.
You’ll be joining a small and collaborative actuarial team who are a group that thrive on mutual support, shared learning, and stepping in to help each other succeed.
What we’re looking for
Previous experience in a Senior analytical role
Proven experience providing actuarial or organisational performance, analysis and reporting to all levels of management
Strong data and analytical skills
You will have extensive experience in software and coding including SAS/SQL
Strong stakeholder skills including effective written and oral communication skills
You will be comfortable working with all levels of management in communicating data and analytical concepts, including the ability to tell a story with data, clearly and succinctly to all levels of management as well as have the ability to work closely with others to understand their needs and insights and use this to effectively explore performance and insights
Experience with visualisation tools such as PowerBI, Qlik, R/Python, Microsoft Excel and other software experience is desirable.
