About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team in Geelong. With a focus on providing claim research, analysis and reporting, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the management of scheme viability, client outcomes, and client experience at the TAC.

Your contributions will support the development and implementation of high-quality computer-based systems and methodologies that ensure the timely provision of claims performance data.

 

About the Team

You will be part of the Performance & Customer insights branch within the Performance, Risk &Strategy Division. Our team collaborates closely to ensure that TAC’s strategic direction aligns with ambitious performance goals. We take responsibility for overseeing actuarial, performance analytics, risk management, and strategy functions, supporting business owners in achieving and measuring benefits, and adjusting our program of work to meet priorities agilely.

  

What we’re looking for

 

Analytical Expertise

You will have strong analytical skills and can organise, analyse, and disseminate data accurately. Experience with SAS/SQL and visualisation tools like Power BI is essential.

 

Effective Communicator

You have an ability to communicate effectively within the team and with stakeholdres to negotiate and reach strong outcomes.

 

Quantitative Background

You have a tertiary qualification or relevant experience in a quantitative discipline, complemented by experience in high- level analysis and reporting roles.
