About the role
The Process Improvement Specialist leads continuous improvement initiatives within TAC’s claims divisions. This role focuses on addressing business challenges by conducting detailed analysis and providing data-driven recommendations and implementation support that leads to sustainable operational improvements.
Additionally, the role supports the maintenance and management of process governance structures and assists business areas in their understanding and adoption.
About the Team
This role will be a part of our Claims Systems Improvement Branch, within the Clients – Service and Operations division. Led by the Manager, Process Improvement, the team operates with a high level of autonomy, trusting team members to independently manage their projects, while always having support available when needed.
The team is dedicated to driving high quality project outcomes that enhance operational efficiency, in support of the broader divisional goal of achieving efficient, just and cost effective injury recovery and independence outcomes of those injured in transport accidents.
What we’re looking for
Continuous Improvement Expert
You will have a strong background in Business Analysis and Project Management, with proven experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your skills will include workshop design and facilitation, process mapping, quality assurance, risk management, and applying project management methodologies and business analysis approaches. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is essential, and a Green Belt in LEAN Six Sigma would be highly regarded.
Stakeholder Engagement Skills
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to present information clearly and help stakeholders make well informed decisions. Your confident and mature communication style will allow you to effectively influence internal stakeholders at all levels.
Proactive and Adaptable
You will be able to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive approach to delivering high-quality work within deadlines. You will embrace change and adapt your planning and priorities to meet evolving needs.
