Right now, we’re seeking an Income Officer who will play their part in this shared purpose, while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. That’s truly rewarding work that will help us continue to deliver life-critical services where it matters.
About the role
This role has the responsibility of managing the end to end process for clients who are entitled to Income Support (Loss of Earnings – LOE). This includes determining eligibility, proactively calling employers, clients and liaising with internal stakeholders to determine accurate entitlements and ensuring that clients receive timely payments in accordance with the Transport Accident Act 1986 and relevant work practices
Success in this role will see you autonomously managing a portfolio of clients, assessing and making liability decisions, supporting clients to achieve optimal outcomes. You will work with clients directly and/or their authorised representatives, establishing and fostering effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
About the Team
This role sits within our Onboarding, Income & Dependency branch, within the broader Clients division. You will be part of a vibrant and experienced team, led by a new Team Manager. You will be joining a work environment that is collaborative, rewarding and fast paced.
What we’re looking for
Detail Focused + Ability to Work Autonomously
You have a proven ability to assess claims and manage benefits with sound judgment and precision. Your strong financial literacy and experience with web-based systems empower you to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Experience in a similar role
With a background in client services or financial services, you bring demonstrated experience in assessing liabilities and managing entitlements. Your ability to solve problems in fast-paced environments will make you a valuable contributor to the team.
Effective communicator and collaborator
You excel in building relationships with stakeholders and thrive in collaborative environments. Your communication skills and ability to navigate complex scenarios enable you to influence outcomes and drive shared success.
Why you’ll love it here
There’s more to work than a competitive salary and amazing employee benefits. As our newest Income Officer, you’ll also:

Every day the work you do at the TAC contributes to something bigger. As part of an inclusive, supportive team you’ll find real purpose in achieving goals, together.
Be rewarded for great work
We value our people, offering a corporate incentive, salary packaging and a reward and recognition program.
