Care in Action

With a career at the TAC, you’ll be helping us look out for the lives of everyone who travels on Victoria’s roads. That’s care in action.
Find out more about our shared purpose, and what drives every one of us.
Right now, we’re seeking a Policy and Service Delivery Officer who will play their part in this shared purpose, while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. That’s truly rewarding work that will help us continue to deliver life-critical services where it matters.

About the role
As a Policy & Service Delivery Officer in Provider Markets & Commercial (Clients Division), you are the go-to resource for internal and external stakeholders seeking clear, consistent advice on standard policies, processes, and registrations—especially for disability service providers. You’ll manage enquiries, triage when required to relevant stakeholders, ensuring we are supporting our providers in up-to-date processes, legislation and being compliant.

About the Team
This collaborative and client centric team is made up of Policy & Service Delivery Officers, Safeguarding Specialists and supported by project-resources, all led by a supportive and enthusiastic Team Manager. The team works together to overcome any barriers so they can deliver on key initiatives.

What we’re looking for

Health and Provider experience
A solid background in health services, provider networks, or claims management is essential. You’ll work closely with the Provider Markets & Commercial group, handling provider-related requests and ensuring compliance with service standards.

Clear, Effective Communication Skills
You communicate clearly—both written and verbally—with diverse internal and external stakeholders. You’ll need to make complex policy, claims, or process information easy to interpret, manage stakeholder expectations, respond to requests or triage where necessary to the relevant team.

Adaptability, Integrity & Stakeholder Focus
Managing deliverables through use of policy, service delivery and providers (especially disability service providers) which requires flexible, agile response to changing policies or urgent requests. A strong customer-oriented mindset helps you align your work to meet stakeholder needs, resolve issues, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Why you’ll love it here
There’s more to work than a competitive salary and amazing employee benefits. As our newest Policy and Service Delivery Officer, you’ll also:

Make a positive difference
Every day the work you do at the TAC contributes to something bigger. As part of an inclusive, supportive team you’ll find real purpose in achieving goals, together.

Be rewarded for great work
We value our people, offering salary packaging and a reward and recognition program.

Grow and go places
We’re invested in your progress. When you work for one of Victoria’s largest and leading workplaces, you’ll receive extensive internal opportunities for development and access to the LinkedIn Learning Digital Hub.
