Security & Emergency Management Lead

  • Full time, permanent role
  • Full-time onsite with some flexibility available – this role will primarily be based in the Geelong office, with work and travel required across all TAC sites.
  • Offering a competitive starting base salary of $121,000 plus super and benefits

Right now, we’re seeking a Security & Emergency Management Lead who will play their part in this shared purpose, while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. About the role

This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to shape and establish the TAC’s approach to security and emergency management across all sites. You’ll lead the development and implementation of strategies that ensure the safety of our people, buildings and operations, while building strong partnerships across the organisation and with external stakeholders.

With scope to bring your own initiative and style, this role offers autonomy and the chance to make a lasting impact.

About the Team

This role sits within the Workplaces team in the Enterprise Change and Workplace Experience division. You’ll report to a manager who values collaboration, trust and proactive leadership. You’ll be supported to take initiative, bring fresh ideas and grow your career in a way that drives you.

You’ll be joining a team with the chance to build something from the ground up. The role involves working closely with colleagues across the organisation, the Health, Safety & Wellbeing and Enterprise Risk teams, working to drive strong relationships and a commitment to continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

Security and Emergency Management Expertise
You bring extensive experience in managing security operations, emergency preparedness and crisis response, ideally within large or high-risk organisations.

Relationship Builder & People Person
You’re known for forming strong, genuine relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and for your ability to drive change and lead with empathy, clarity and confidence.

Initiative & Autonomy
You’re a proactive leader who thrives in dynamic environments, takes ownership, and embraces the opportunity to shape new ways of working.
