Care in Action
With a career at the TAC, you’ll be helping us look out for the lives of everyone who travels on Victoria’s roads. That’s care in action.
Find out more about our shared purpose, and what drives every one of us.
Right now, we’re seeking two Senior Business Intelligence Analysts who will play their part in this shared purpose, while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. That’s truly rewarding work that will help us continue to deliver life-critical services where it matters.
About the role
This is a high-impact analytical role where you’ll develop proactive analysis and reporting, helping the TAC better understand and respond to performance data, trends and risks. You’ll provide high-quality statistical insights that support our clients in getting their lives back on track, while also influencing strategic decision-making across the organisation.
With a focus on both day-to-day requests and longer-term strategic projects and analytical requests, you’ll be encouraged to challenge the norm, bring fresh ideas and spark new ways of approaching problems. This role is about more than just data - it’s about storytelling, visualisation and helping others see the value and meaning behind the numbers.
About the Team
The Performance, Risk & Strategy division is committed to ensuring the TAC achieves its ambitious performance targets through informed decision-making and strategic insights. Within this division, the Performance Insights & Analytics Branch leverages data and analytics to support key stakeholders in realising their objectives.
As part of a dynamic and highly collaborative team, you will work closely with passionate professionals across various disciplines, contributing to an environment that encourages innovation, agile practices and shared success.
What we’re looking for
Analytical expertise with a creative edge
You bring a tertiary qualification in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Business or Economics, and the experience in a senior analytical role to back it up. You’re confident working with tools like Qlik, SAS/SQL, Excel, Power BI, and ideally cloud platforms like Azure Databricks.
A bold thinker and passionate contributor
You’re not afraid to challenge assumptions and bring new ideas to the table. You’re passionate about the TAC’s mission and you see the bigger picture and are driven by purpose, not just process.
A storyteller with data
You know how to make the complicated simple. You are adept at building compelling visualisations and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that resonate with stakeholders.
Why you’ll love it here
There’s more to work than a competitive salary and amazing employee benefits. As our newest Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you’ll also:
Be rewarded for great work
We value our people, offering salary packaging and a reward and recognition program.
Grow and go places
We’re invested in your progress. When you work for one of Victoria’s largest and leading workplaces, you’ll receive extensive internal opportunities for development and access to the LinkedIn Learning Digital Hub.
