With a career at the TAC, you’ll be helping us look out for the lives of everyone who travels on Victoria’s roads. That’s care in action.

Find out more about our shared purpose, and what drives every one of us.

Right now, we’re seeking a Senior Information Management Analyst who will play their part in this shared purpose, while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. That’s truly rewarding work that will help us continue to deliver life-critical services where it matters.

About the role

As a Senior Information Management Analyst, you’ll draw on your expertise in SAS data warehousing and reporting to design, develop, maintain and enhance reporting solutions that support strategic decision-making. You’ll work closely with (Internal IT teams) ITSS and SAS-user communities to ensure data integrity, provide technical advice and deliver high-quality operational reporting. In this role, you’ll also play a key part in improving data processes and driving continuous enhancements to ensure our reporting environment remains robust and future ready.

About the Team

This role sits within our Platform Data and AI branch in the Performance, Risk & Strategy division, which drives data, analytics and strategic insights across the organisation. You’ll join a collaborative, forward-thinking team and work closely with stakeholders to ensure our data solutions are accurate, actionable, and aligned with organisational priorities. The team fosters curiosity, continuous learning and a culture of shared success.

What we’re looking for

Technical expertise in SAS and data warehousing
You’ll bring tertiary qualifications in data or business intelligence disciplines, or equivalent experience, along with formal SAS certifications. Advanced proficiency in Base SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Visual Analytics, SQL, and Microsoft Excel is essential. A strong understanding of data warehouse components, modelling processes, and the Systems Development Life Cycle will set you up for success.

Analytical and problem-solving skills

We need someone who can analyse complex data structures, design and implement robust data models, and conduct impact analysis for system changes. Your ability to identify operational issues and recommend improvements will ensure high-quality data is maintained across TAC systems.

Collaborative and adaptable approach

This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across ITSS, SAS-user communities, and business stakeholders. You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement and best practice.
