Care in Action
With a career at the TAC, you’ll be helping us look out for the lives of everyone who travels on Victoria’s roads. That’s care in action.
Find out more about our shared purpose, and what drives every one of us.
Right now, we’re seeking a Executive Assistant who will play their part in this shared purpose, while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. That’s truly rewarding work that will help us continue to deliver life-critical services where it matters.
About the role
The Executive Assistant provides high-level, confidential administrative and operational support to the General Manager Transformation Engagement and at times the Executive General Manager Enterprise Transformation.
This is a pivotal role that helps enable the smooth operation of a fast-paced transformation division. You will manage complex diaries, coordinate meetings and executive priorities, prepare high-quality documentation, and ensure key activities across the division run efficiently.
Working closely with senior leaders, you will act as a trusted point of coordination for the division, managing competing priorities, maintaining workflow during leadership absences, and ensuring information, communications and decisions flow smoothly. The role also supports financial administration, including invoice management, budget tracking and coordination with Finance to monitor divisional expenditure.
Success in this role requires strong judgement, discretion and attention to detail. You will be proactive, highly organised and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly.
About the Team
This role sits within the Enterprise Transformation division, which is responsible for delivering TAC’s most significant strategic and transformation initiatives. The division brings together business, digital, change and delivery expertise to enable sustainable, enterprise-wide outcomes that optimise client experience, employee experience and community impact.
You will work closely with the Enterprise Transformation leadership team and collaborate with Executive Assistants and stakeholders across the organisation to ensure a consistent and professional approach to executive support. You will report to the General Manager Transformation Engagement who is collaborative, outcome-focused and coaching-oriented.
What we’re looking for
Experienced Executive Support Professional
You have demonstrated experience providing executive administrative support to senior leaders in complex organisations. You are confident managing diaries, coordinating meetings and events, preparing documents and ensuring leaders are well supported in a high-pressure environment.
Highly Organised & Detail-Oriented
You are proactive and organised, with a strong eye for detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. You are comfortable working independently, exercising initiative and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Trusted Relationship Builder
You build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicate with professionalism and discretion. Collaborative and adaptable, you support teams across the organisation and ensure priorities are clearly understood and enabled.
Why you’ll love it here
There’s more to work than a competitive salary and amazing employee benefits. As our newest Executive Assistant, you’ll also:
Make a positive difference
Every day the work you do at the TAC contributes to something bigger. As part of an inclusive, supportive team you’ll find real purpose in achieving goals, together.
Be rewarded for great work
We value our people, offering a service delivery payment, salary packaging and a reward and recognition program.
Grow and go places
We’re invested in your progress. When you work for one of Victoria’s largest and leading workplaces, you’ll receive extensive internal opportunities for development and access to the LinkedIn Learning Digital Hub.
