About the opportunity.

As a Senior Automation Developer, you’ll create impact by designing and delivering enterprise automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance business outcomes and build TAC’s maturity in intelligent automation.

You will take technical ownership across the automation lifecycle, translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure and maintainable solutions using UiPath and associated technologies. You will also help shape development standards, reusable frameworks and integration approaches, while providing technical guidance to other developers and supporting the continuous improvement of TAC’s automation capability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop and support enterprise-grade UiPath automation solutions, applying robust development, architecture, security and governance practices.
  • Design and implement reliable integrations across enterprise applications using APIs, Integration Service, SQL, JSON/XML and other data sources.
  • Drive the use of intelligent automation capabilities, including Document Understanding and AI-enabled technologies, to identify and deliver measurable business value.
  • Provide technical leadership across solution design, code quality, development standards and reusable automation frameworks, mentoring and guiding other developers.
  • Take ownership of production automation services, resolving complex issues, conducting root-cause analysis and driving continuous improvement.

 

About the team.

This role sits within the Enterprise Transformation division, which leads TAC’s technology, digital and transformation agenda, delivering modern technology solutions and optimising business operations to enhance client outcomes, employee experience and community impact.

Reporting to the Process Automation Tech Lead, you’ll join a collaborative team focused on using automation and emerging technologies to improve how TAC works. You’ll work closely with business and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities, deliver practical automation solutions and continuously improve TAC’s automation capability.

 

What you’ll bring.

  • 6+ years’ experience in enterprise automation and RPA development, with extensive hands-on experience designing, developing, deploying and supporting UiPath solutions across the full lifecycle.
  • Advanced UiPath and integration expertise, including REFramework, queues, Integration Service, APIs, Document Understanding and intelligent automation, with strong experience across REST, JSON, XML and SQL.
  • Strong technical leadership and problem-solving capability, with the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions, manage technical risks and provide guidance to other developers.
  • Strong stakeholder and delivery capability, with experience working across business, architecture, security and technology teams in Agile environments and contributing to governance, CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.
  • Experience in complex or regulated environments such as insurance, government or financial services, and UiPath Certified Professional certification, will be highly regarded.
