Right now, we’re seeking a Team Manager, Marketing and Advertising who will play their part in this shared purpose, while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. About the role
As the Team Manager, you’ll lead a passionate, purpose driven Marketing and Advertising team while managing the strategic development and annual delivery of the TAC’s Annual Advertising Plan. You’ll guide the planning and execution of multiple major road safety campaigns that assist in reducing road trauma in Victoria. Above all, you’ll foster a collaborative, high‑performing culture that enables your team to deliver impactful work.
About the Team
You’ll lead a team of Campaign Managers and Coordinators who are collaborative, motivated and deeply committed to driving behaviour change in the Victorian community.
You’ll also be part of a broader leadership team where the culture is supportive, people‑first and grounded in shared purpose.
What we’re looking for
Leadership and Team Development
Proven experience leading and developing a high‑performing marketing or advertising team, with the ability to set direction, coach others and manage multiple moving parts in a fast‑paced environment.
Strategic Campaign Management
The Team Manager will lead the development and execution of evidence-based marketing campaigns that resonate with the Victorian community. Leveraging audience insights, the role demands creativity, strategic thinking and demonstrated experience in major campaign management and media planning and buying, to ensure campaigns effectively support the Victorian Road Safety Strategy 2030 and achieve desired outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Building
Ability to build strong, influential relationships with government partners, road safety stakeholders and internal leaders. Confident navigating approvals, aligning diverse viewpoints and working with external agencies to deliver campaigns that meet governance requirements and support broader road safety objectives.
Corporate business acumen
Proven experience developing and monitoring complex budgets, leading team activity planning and workflow management, navigating internal and external governance and approval processes, and reporting on performance and outcomes.
