About the role 

The Senior Project Manager will work collaboratively across the business with a range of executive and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered in support of the TAC’s HRIS Uplift project

As the Senior Project Manager for the HRIS Uplift project, you will be responsible for overseeing a full review of our HRIS and guiding the decision-making process for a new platform to be implemented in 2025.

This role requires expertise in shaping HRIS strategy, understanding business architecture, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure stakeholder engagement and alignment with organisational goals. 

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of the HRIS uplift project, including defining project scope and desired outcomes.
  • Shape the HRIS strategy for the TAC, informed by best practice and industry standards.
  • Conduct a thorough assessment of current state processes through mapping and understanding of pain points, to determine requirements and business value of an integrated HRIS platform.
  • Utilise business architecture to articulate HRIS capabilities and outline the future technology landscape for supporting employee management.
  • Develop business cases and implement an effective procurement approach including a go-to-market exercise for both product and implementation partner selection.
  • Communicate project statuses, changes, and insights to senior executives, fostering a collaborative environment and strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder communication.
  • Mentor and guide project team members, promoting high performing and collaborative culture.

 

 

What we’re looking for 

HRIS Experience

Proven experience in shaping HRIS strategy and understanding HRIS best practices within an organisation, along with a strong background in business architecture and its application to articulate HRIS capabilities.

 

Stakeholder Engagement

Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills to ensure effective management of interdependencies with other programs of work in the organisation.

 

Proven Project Management Experience

Demonstrated success in leading business transformation projects, and PRINCE2 or Agile certification.
