About the Role

The Policy and Service Delivery Specialist will contribute to the development of critical policy changes, impactful improvement programs and initiatives in conjunction with other areas of the TAC that drive, support and improve access to services provided to TAC clients.

About the Team

This role will be a part of our newly formed Policy and Service Delivery branch within the Strategy, Sectors and Research division. You will be joining a vibrant, energised and high performing division who work together to achieve great outcomes for the TAC and our clients.

A Day in the Life

  • Set policy & develop service delivery outcomes, collect and analyse data and monitor results
  • Lead the development and implementation of policy & service models, business improvements and project initiatives.
  • Develop communication and engagement strategies with internal and external stakeholders  and work closely together to deliver outcomes
  • Work closely with Policy & Service Team Managers in managing business relationships with internal clients and external partners
  • Prepare, deliver and present written reports, papers and presentations including project documentation

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated experience in policy and program design, review and analysis
  • Experience or knowledge of the health/disability/trauma and/or related sectors
  • Ability to influence the thinking and action of others
  • Critical thinker with the ability to problem solve
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills including exceptional written and verbal communication
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or experience in health, disability, trauma or related discipline (desirable)
