About the role
We are seeking a Government Relations Advisor who will play a critical role in supporting the TAC’s engagement with Government stakeholders. You will act as a conduit between the TAC and Government, providing sound advice, building positive relationships, identifying opportunities, and resolving complex issues related to the TAC’s work. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with Ministers’ Offices, respective Departments, and branches across the TAC, ensuring that the TAC’s strategic goals are effectively communicated and achieved.

About the Team
This role is part of our Government Relations team within the Government Legislation & Privacy branch, responsible for liaising with Ministers, their offices, various government departments, and road safety partners. Proactive and Strategic Thinker
You will be expected to lead research and analysis activities, contribute to policy development, and monitor Parliamentary Inquiries. The ability to exercise initiative, set priorities, and manage competing demands in a dynamic environment is essential.

We’re looking for someone who excels at building strong relationships across all levels of government and within the TAC. Your collaborative approach will be key to ensuring that the TAC’s objectives are met, and that information is shared effectively.
