About the role
The Business Analyst Data Consultant performs business and data analysis to support improved efficiency, productivity and performance across the organisation.
Working closely with stakeholders, you will translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements, analyse current processes, and identify opportunities for improvement that align with strategic priorities. The role involves gathering and documenting requirements, facilitating workshops, and ensuring stakeholders have a shared understanding of outcomes and deliverables.
You will collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams to support product development and ensure solutions meet business needs. The role also generates meaningful data insights and analytics to inform decision-making, enhance service delivery, and drive continuous improvement.
About the Team
The Portfolio and Product Team, within the Performance Insights and Analytics branch are Agile, high performing, collaborative and supportive. You will be supported by your Portfolio & Product Delivery Manager who values your contribution, and champions you to achieve personal and business goals.
What we’re looking for
Demonstrated technical capability
Ability to interpret and translate complex technical documentation, including data models, solution architecture, and functional and non-functional requirements into clear, actionable insights. Proven ability to facilitate solution design discussions between technical specialists and business stakeholders within an Agile/DevOps environment, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
Excellent stakeholder engagement
Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to draw on diverse perspectives and expertise.
Collaborative and Agile Mindset
Demonstrated ability to contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environment by working effectively with diverse stakeholders, fostering an inclusive and positive team culture, and applying a growth mindset to continuously learn and adapt. Actively shares knowledge with colleagues and stakeholders to support capability development and continuous improvement.
