Find out more about our shared purpose, and what drives every one of us.
Right now, we’re seeking a Contract & Commercial Manager who will play their part in the shared purposes. Someone with the right skills and expertise, as well as attitude and openness to new ideas, that help advance positive outcomes for the organisations, their colleagues, and themselves.
Two organisations. One IT division.
This role is for a position in Technology Operations. A collaboration area in which the TAC and WorkSafe Victoria share resources to deliver IT solutions. If successful in your application, you will be employed by TAC Victoria working across both organisations
About the role
As a Contract & Commercial Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in managing IT procurement activities and overseeing ongoing monitoring and compliance of key IT contracts. Within this role, you’ll develop and lead procurement strategies that align with Victorian Government policies whilst meeting the programmatic needs of Technology Operations.
This role will involve setting contract targets, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement to ensure efficient and compliant outcomes. You’ll also manage stakeholder relationships, negotiate contract variations, and provide expert advise to support business objectives.
About the Team
You’ll be joining Technology Operations which is a dynamic and collaborative branch that powers IT services for both the TAC and WorkSafe Victoria. Technology Operations plays a critical role in enabling both organisations to support injured Victorians through innovative and reliable IT solutions. Our team is committed to excellence, collaboration, and driving impactful outcomes for our stakeholders.

Proven experience in IT procurement & contract management
You bring demonstrated experience in managing IT contracts and procurement processes, in IT supply, licensing, support, and service agreements. A strong understanding of the Victorian Government’s procurement and contract management framework is highly desirable.
Strategic leadership
You have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams through complex purchases, with the ability to align to the future state architecture, set and deliver procurement targets, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement in a corporate or government setting.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement & communication
You excel at building productive relationships with diverse stakeholders, using strong influencing and communication skills to drive collaboration, facilitate decision making, and present clear, actionable insights to varying audiences.
Why you’ll love it here
There’s more to work than a competitive salary and amazing employee benefits. As our newest Contract and Commercial Manager, you’ll also:
Grow your way
Development programs, incentive plans and access to the LinkedIn Learning Hub to help advance your career and influence meaningful change.
