About the role

The Portfolio Analyst is responsible for the creation of, dissemination, quality and compliance to agreed project management tools and frameworks within the IT delivery practice. The Portfolio Analyst will promote and ensure use of best fit, approved methodologies, techniques and tools.  The Portfolio Analyst will assist in resource analysis across the portfolio, undertake project reviews to ensure compliance and recommend and lead implementation of improvement opportunities.

About the Team

This role sits within the Infrastructure LCM team reporting to the Senior Manager. You will be joining a collaborative, agile and cross functional team who contribute to the organisation’s strategic priorities in a cost-effective way that optimises client outcomes, employee experience and a positive community impact.

What we’re looking for

Demonstrated experience working within a PMO or Project Management

Proven experience in resource analysis across the portfolio including undertaking project reviews to ensure compliance and recommend and lead implementation of improvement opportunities

Significant experience in the development and deployment of project delivery frameworks, tools and standards including:

  • Demonstrated experience conducting project health checks, highlighting opportunities for improvement in delivery and quality in project outcomes and ensuring compliance to methodologies and processes
  • Highly developed analytical skills, across project and resource data with the ability to produce reports, providing effective recommendations

Highly developed written and verbal Communication skills

Strong written and verbal Communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
