About the role
TAC is undertaking one of the largest transformations in its history, replacing our core claims platform and building new ways of working that support our clients to achieve their best recovery outcomes across the life of their claim.

Our new Product Owners sit at the centre of that redesign. As the voice of the business, you’ll shape end‑to‑end process, business rules and operational design, making the calls that ensure the new platform delivers the best client, people and scheme outcomes. Embedded in a cross‑functional pod operating with agile delivery models. You’ll drive the build, enable adoption, and deliver an uplift in modern product capability across TAC, creating an operational foundation that will influence how we work long after the program ends.

About the Team

You’ll be part of our new Claims Transformation program, one of a team of Product Owners led by the General Manager and created to represent client, and business needs. This is an evolving, highly constructive team built on shared problem‑solving and a strong delivery mindset, working together to shape TAC’s future claims platform and the way our business operates.

What we’re looking for

Backlog and Outcome Ownership
You’ll lead and prioritise your pod’s backlog, making clear, confident decisions that reflect business value and future‑state needs. You’ll have strength in proactive thinking, identifying risks, understanding upstream and downstream impacts, and making decisions that support long term, sustainable outcomes.

Transformation Leadership & Delivery Contribution
You’ll shape the solution by enabling discovery, design and sprint activities. You’ll support testing, resolve trade‑offs quickly, and keep delivery moving. You’ll also help prepare the business for change, validating training and supporting transition.

Stakeholder Engagement & Informed Decision Making
You’ll bring together input from clients, business experts, operational leaders, and third parties to make informed decisions on processes, rules and experience design. You’ll work closely with your pod, delivery leads and the implementation partner, facilitating discussions and escalating issues when needed. You’ll manage competing priorities and provide clear, well‑reasoned recommendations to senior leaders to ensure alignment across TAC, as we build the future operating model to achieve long‑term outcomes.
