Care in Action

With a career at the TAC, you’ll be helping us look out for the lives of everyone who travels on Victoria’s roads. That’s care in action.

Find out more about our shared purpose, and what drives every one of us.

Right now, we’re seeking a Project Coordinator who will play their part in this shared purpose, while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. That’s truly rewarding work that will help us continue to deliver life-critical services where it matters.

About the role

This is a foundational role within TAC’s Digital Delivery function, supporting the delivery of major technology and transformation initiatives that build foundational enterprise capabilities.

As a Project Coordinator, you will work alongside experienced Project Managers to ensure our digital programs are well-governed, financially disciplined, and operationally organised. You will play a critical role in maintaining delivery momentum — supporting financial management (including invoicing and accruals), updating portfolio reporting tools, coordinating governance forums, tracking actions, and ensuring accurate and transparent project information.

In this role, you will be part of the team that enables successful delivery of enterprise platforms, digital capabilities, and technology transformation programs that support TAC’s long-term strategy.

About the Team

Reporting to the Project Manager, this role sits within the Digital Delivery branch of the Enterprise Transformation Division.

Digital Delivery is responsible for shaping and delivering strategic technology programs that build and uplift core enterprise capabilities. We work across platforms and foundational technology, to ensure TAC’s digital environment is modern, secure, and scalable.

You will join a collaborative and supportive team who value psychological safety, curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement. We believe strong delivery foundations enable great business outcomes — and that every role in the team plays a meaningful part in that success.

What we’re looking for

Strong Project Coordination Experience
Demonstrated experience supporting projects, with a solid understanding of governance processes, financial tracking, and documentation discipline. Confidence working with ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Experience in coordinating key project meetings by preparing agendas, documenting minutes and actions, and following up to ensure progress on assigned items.

Strong stakeholder experience

Excellent relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills, and an ability to. Engage proactively with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a dependable point of contact for project activities.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise competing demands

Highly motivated with a positive and proactive approach, experienced with managing competing priorities and a demonstrated ability to take accountability for delivering quality outcomes.

Why you’ll love it here

There’s more to work than a competitive salary and amazing employee benefits. As our newest Project Coordinator, you’ll also:

Make a positive difference

Every day the work you do at the TAC contributes to something bigger. As part of an inclusive, supportive team you’ll find real purpose in achieving goals, together.

Be rewarded for great work

We value our people, offering a service delivery payment, salary packaging and a reward and recognition program.

Grow and go places

We’re invested in your progress. When you work for one of Victoria’s largest and leading workplaces, you’ll receive extensive internal opportunities for development and access to the LinkedIn Learning Digital Hub.
