Right now, we’re seeking a Project Coordinator who will play their part in the shared purposes. Someone with the right skills and expertise, as well as attitude and openness to new ideas, that help advance positive outcomes for the organisations, their colleagues, and themselves.
Two organisations. One IT division.
This role is for a position in Technology Operations collaboration area in which the TAC and WorkSafe Victoria share resources to deliver IT solutions. If successful in your application, you will be employed by TAC working across both organisations.
About the role
The Project Coordinator provides essential project coordination and administrative support to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects within the Technology Operations portfolio. Working closely with Project Managers and key stakeholders, the role supports project planning, scheduling, reporting, financial tracking, procurement activities and governance, while maintaining accurate project documentation and acting as a central point of contact across the project lifecycle.
About the Team
This role sits within the Program Delivery Team reporting to the Senior Manager. You will be joining a collaborative, agile and cross functional team who contribute to the organisation’s strategic priorities in a cost-effective way that optimises client outcomes, employee experience and a positive community impact.
What we’re looking for
Strong project coordination experience in an IT environment
Proven experience supporting multiple technology projects, with a solid understanding of the project management lifecycle, governance, schedules, financial management (including accruals), risk and issue tracking, and project reporting.
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Ability to work confidently with internal and external stakeholders, act as a central point of contact, produce clear project documentation and reports, and coordinate meetings, actions and follow‑ups effectively.
Strong Systems & Tools Capability:
Strong hands‑on experience using SharePoint for project documentation and collaboration, Power BI for project and portfolio reporting, and Microsoft Excel for tracking, analysis and financial support, with Power Automate experience considered an advantage for improving workflows and administrative efficiency.
