About the role
The Senior Manager, Provider Performance, Commercial and Service Innovation leads the critical transformation agenda focused on strengthening provider performance, redesigning service pathways, unlocking commercial value, and embedding a future-focused approach to healthcare purchasing and delivery. The role brings transformational leadership to redesign service pathways and lead complex change programs that elevate performance, strengthen commercial partnerships, and embed value‑based healthcare across the scheme.
This role extends far beyond operational leadership. You will shape how the TAC partners with providers, influence market behaviour and develop innovative commercial models, positioning the TAC as a trusted and impactful partner of choice.

About the Team
You'll lead three experienced leaders and a team of approximately 20 specialists dedicated to provider performance, commercial strategy and highly, motivated and committed to delivering high‑quality service outcomes. This is an engaged, capable and committed team that is ready for its next chapter. They are looking for a leader who can bring fresh thinking, challenge the status quo, build capability and guide them through significant transformation.

What we’re looking for
The TAC is looking for a leader with deep experience in health, private health insurance, provider networks, healthcare consulting, commissioning or a similar commercial setting. Someone who can think strategically, understand the commercial environment, and turn complex change into practical improvements. The decisions you make will directly shape the quality, accessibility and impact of services for our clients, people injured on Victorian roads.

This is a chance to lead meaningful reform, as a key member of the Provider Markets and Commercial senior leadership team, you’ll lead major change across provider performance, service innovation, commercial strategy and stakeholder partnerships. Success in this role calls for courage, clear thinking, influence and the ability to bring people along on a transformational journey. You will bring:

• Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide transformation programs
• Deep understanding of healthcare markets, provider performance and commercial models
