Care in Action

With a career at the TAC, you’ll be helping us look out for the lives of everyone who travels on Victoria’s roads. That’s care in action.

Find out more about our shared purpose, and what drives every one of us.

Right now, we’re seeking Talent Acquisition Specialists who will play their part in this shared purpose, while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. That’s truly rewarding work that will help us continue to deliver life-critical services where it matters.

About the role

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will deliver end-to-end recruitment services across TAC, partnering with leaders to attract and hire talent that supports a high-performing and inclusive culture. You will design targeted attraction strategies, provide expert recruitment advice and champion TAC’s Employee Value Proposition throughout the candidate experience.

Beyond recruitment delivery, you will contribute to projects and initiatives that support the TAC's Make Every Day Matter strategy, helping to enhance how we attract, assess and engage talent across the organisation.

About the Team

You will join the Talent Acquisition team, part of the People Experience branch within the wider People, Culture & Engagement division. The team is committed to enabling a high-performance culture where people are capable and empowered to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients and community.

You will be part of a collaborative, supportive and energetic team that values initiative, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

Talent Acquisition & Attraction Expertise

You bring hands-on experience delivering end-to-end recruitment across a variety of roles and disciplines, using contemporary attraction and assessment practices to identify and engage high-quality, diverse talent. You provide expert recruitment advice, apply market insights and develop attraction strategies that support informed hiring decisions. Experience with HR and recruitment systems (PageUp and Aurion desirable) and relevant qualifications in HR or a related field will be highly regarded.

People-Savvy & Trusted Stakeholder Partner

You build strong, trusted relationships with leaders and stakeholders and bring the confidence to influence and challenge when needed. You demonstrate strong situational awareness, understand different perspectives and adapt your approach to navigate complex situations effectively. You exercise sound judgement, anticipate risks and provide practical advice that balances immediate needs with broader organisational priorities.

Proactive, Adaptable & Improvement Focused

You take ownership, look ahead and don’t wait to be asked. You’re comfortable identifying opportunities, solving problems and driving better ways of working in a changing environment. You bring curiosity, initiative and a continuous improvement mindset to your work.

Why you’ll love it here

There’s more to work than a competitive salary and amazing employee benefits. As our newest Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll also:

Make a positive difference

Every day the work you do at the TAC contributes to something bigger. As part of an inclusive, supportive team you’ll find real purpose in achieving goals, together.

Be rewarded for great work

We value our people, offering a service delivery payment, salary packaging and a reward and recognition program.

Grow and go places

We’re invested in your progress. When you work for one of Victoria’s largest and leading workplaces, you’ll receive extensive internal opportunities for development and access to the LinkedIn Learning Digital Hub.
