We're Hiring!
Senior Strategic Analyst
- 927530
- Geelong, Victoria, Australia, 3220
- Full-time
- Closing on: May 10 2026
Care in Action
With a career at the TAC, you’ll be helping us look out for the lives of everyone who travels on Victoria’s roads. That’s care in action.
Find out more about our shared purpose, and what drives every one of us.
Right now, we’re seeking a Senior Strategic Analyst who will play their part in this shared purpose, while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. That’s truly rewarding work that will help us continue to deliver life-critical services where it matters.
About the role
This role is focused on delivering strategic performance insights and supporting the implementation of our “Make Every Day Matter” strategy.
With our strategy mid-cycle, you’ll partner with Executive and Senior leaders to identify trends, generate insights and support informed decision-making, translating complex analysis into clear strategic narratives.
About the Team
You’ll be one of three Senior Strategic Analysts, working as part of the broader Strategy team within the Performance, Risk and Strategy division. This is a highly collaborative, team-focused environment where you will work closely together, value open communication, and support each other to deliver high-quality outcomes.
What we’re looking for
Strategic performance & analytical expertise
You bring strong experience in analysing both quantitative and qualitative data, identifying trends and translating insights into meaningful performance outcomes. You’re confident working with data and visualising it in a way that drives action.
Influential communicator
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, compelling insights. You’re comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, including executive and Board-level audiences, and can influence through evidence-based storytelling.
Collaborative team player
You thrive in a team environment, working closely with others to solve problems and deliver outcomes. You value collaboration over autonomy and enjoy contributing to a shared goal, while building strong relationships across the organisation.
Why you’ll love it here
There’s more to work than a competitive salary and amazing employee benefits. As our newest Senior Strategic Analyst, you’ll also:
Make a positive difference
Every day the work you do at the TAC contributes to something bigger. As part of an inclusive, supportive team you’ll find real purpose in achieving goals, together.
Be rewarded for great work
We value our people, offering a service delivery payment, salary packaging and a reward and recognition program.
Grow and go places
We’re invested in your progress. When you work for one of Victoria’s largest and leading workplaces, you’ll receive extensive internal opportunities for development and access to the LinkedIn Learning Digital Hub.
